Matt 19:21 Jesus said...give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven

Why is there a $3.00 shipping charge?

Your $3.00 helps pay for the container to ship the Christmas Bags to Haiti. So that, along with the Christmas Bags, your $3.00 helps ship much needed supplies like dried milk, oatmeal, cornmeal, medicines, scriptures, school supplies, and whatever else we can get to fit!

All of these things can be sent when everyone includes just $3.00 per bag.

Please keep in mind that the $3.00 charge will get your Christmas gifts either from our "homebase" in Indiana or MFI in Florida to Haiti. If you live outside of Indiana or Florida, you'll need to ship your packages to one of those locations. We would prefer that the bags be sent to Indiana this year if at all possible. If you have a large group filling Christmas bags, you may want to charge more for shipping to cover your shipping costs.
Why Haiti?

With an average annual household income of $225, Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. About 80% of the population lives in abject poverty. The Christmas bag you send may be the only gift these children will ever receive.
If Haiti is so poor, why are the children dressed so well?

In Haiti, the children are required to wear uniforms to school. The children in these pictures are dressed in school uniforms sewn for them by their teachers with material donated by individuals in the U.S. This also helps the parents as many of them struggle to afford the fees for schooling.
If we send 10,000 Christmas bags this year, will that take care of all the children?

Unfortunately, our goal of 10,000 Christmas bags is still just a drop in the bucket. There are nearly 3,000,000 children under the age of 14 in Haiti.
What if I just want to make a donation, not fill a bag?

That's great! Please click on the "Contact Us" tab and send an email to either Stan Curtis or Missy Goins. We'll let you know who to make your check out to, where to send it, and answer any questions you may have about how exactly your donation will be used.
